Grand Theft Auto Co-Creator Dan Houser Joins Advisory Board Of Blockchain Game Studio

Co-writer & producer of famed series GTA- Dan Houser is now dwelling into Web3 gaming. Popular blockchain games developer Revolving Games marked his entry into the advisory board. Find out what he is planning in his next blockchain game venture?

Famous co-writer, producer of Grand Theft Auto video game series & creative lead of Rockstar Games- Dan Houser has sailed his boat towards the web3 gaming world. Recently he proudly marked his entry into the advisory board of blockchain games developer Revolving Games.

Though it wasn’t a shocker for many, as Houser participated in a $13.2 million fundraising round for the company. Later, he crash-landed the Revolving Games' advisory board. It wasn’t so hard to join the dots!

Revolving Games comprises two studios that possess around 100 employees in total. These employees are working on two titles on priority currently. The first one is an officially- licensed Battlestar Galactica MMO game while the second one is a co-op adventure RPG based on a Nintendo classic called Skybourne Legacy. By far now, the company has raised over $20 million for the development of web3 integrated games.

You might remember Dan Houser from the popular game publisher company Rockstar Games.  It bucketed various special gaming titles such as Grand Theft Auto, Far Cry, Red Dead Redemption & more. Houser also co-wrote and co-led development on multiple titles, until his departure in February 2020. Though what exactly the company is expected to bring or what projects it will create is still not official yet.

But despite the zero effect on the environment, Dan Houser is far from the first prominent developer to invest in web3 gaming & evolving tech. Square Enix has been constantly supporting & even using all the saved money acquired via selling its western studios to invest in blockchain. The former Nintendo of America president is also showing a keen interest in blockchain's potential.
