Gala Games made waves this week after announcing an exciting NFT partnership with Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson and Mark Wahlberg. Its native token, GALA, instantly doubled in value. Seemingly, the $GALA Hollywood Icon Partnership has been promoted once again amongst NFT lovers.

On Monday, Gala Games took to Twitter to announce an incredible collaboration with The Rock and Mark Wahlberg. First, the team shared the news with their Discord community. Accordingly, Gala Film plans to use $GALA as its native token since all of its projects will take place on the blockchain. 

However, things changed when the team shared their Discord announcement on Twitter, and the platform quickly deleted the post. Of course, fans were shocked and wondered if this was fake news or not.

Gala Games NFT Partnership Confirmed

Apparently, a Gala Games representative finally confirmed the collaboration via CoinDesk quoting-

"The announcement post was intended to be a private post for the Discord community and should not be shared in a public place," the anonymous spokesperson said. “It was also part of a larger conversation in Discord about where Gala Film was headed. Gala took the tweet down out of respect to all involved partners but we look forward to sharing more about these projects in the near future.”

Though the team hasn't announced an exact release date, they will be releasing collectibles featuring the two Hollywood icons soon this year.

In conclusion, this unique partnership for the blockchain gaming realm will yield its product in 2023. It is certainly not the first Hollywood partnership.
